Accounts receivable are amounts customers owe your business for work already billed. Keeping a clear ledger helps you estimate cash flow and identify clients who need a follow-up. It does not mean every overdue invoice is uncollectible.
Record every invoice with a due date. Review the unpaid balance by customer and currency. When payment arrives, verify it externally and update the record. For partial payments, split the remaining balance into an updated invoice or track the adjustment in your bookkeeping system; this version of ZUMIP only supports simple paid/open/void states.
A useful receivables workflow is transparent: organize documents, review late accounts weekly, send approved reminders, and keep a copy of your records. ZUMIP is a lightweight tracker, not full accounting software.
All clients, invoices, due dates and payment statuses in one view. Editable templates and manual approval; no automatic chasing.
